The sun moves more naturally that day, taking us on an impeccable adventure in Italy. Staying at a cabin on a country side, we still remember the trees lining up on the yard. Birds flying and blending with the sky and other clouds. The air was fresh, yet sweet at the same time. When green meets hues of grey and blue, an infinite horizon line is created. Droplets of rain suddenly decide to visit and greet us. There are misty days where the light shines behind the thick cloud and those are definitely the best memories for us.

The magic still remains after the journey ended. Behind the eyes of the travellers, inside the footsteps of the sage. Infused in scents of Mother Natures blooms.

Lazy dusty days drifting by slowly without notice. Basked in the warm sunlight, caressing down the layers of our skin. Enjoying a sip of Whiskey with a saying in mind: Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough. While looking back to 2018, we’ll definitely need another glass to cheer on. In the past, we’re asked about our favourite part in 2018, and we just didn’t know where to begin.

Blessed with moments of blissful adventures to Roys Peak while overseeing the clearest blue lake, riding the double-decker bus sightseeing tall buildings in Chicago. We still remembered the scent of the glorious coffeemaker in a small cafe in Cinque Terre and the tranquil feeling when we listened to birds chirping in a wild flower field in Sumba.

And those were some of our favourite scenes in 2018. To wrap up, we want to give a big round of applause to all couples, friends, families and vendors for the amazing experiences that we had last year. We believe that 2019 will bring more great, yet thrilling escapades for us!

Dea & Patrick | Wedding Day | Düsseldorf

“If it’s meant to be, it will be.”

That’s the story of the two lovebirds, Dea and Patrick.

They first met back then in November 2015. Patrick was an exchange student from Germany and he was in Bali for five months while Dea is a local make-up artist. Three weeks before he left for Germany, fate brought them together. One fine day in Single Fin Bali, Patrick approached Dea and asked for a lighter which ended up in a conversations for hours.

They dated for three weeks when Patrick had to leave Bali and went back to his hometown. An eight months long distance relationship followed after, that was really challenging. “I pushed him many many times but here he is beside me as my husband.” beamed Dea. When Patrick popped the question and Dea said yes, LADÜ was the perfect place to celebrate it. It was love at the first sight for them and as their wedding concept is Rustic.

Sadie & Brent | Wedding Day | Chicago

“We are two different people who compliment, and love each other well.” – Sadie.

Sadie & Brent first met 7 years ago in high school PE class. During that time, they were just acquaintances but eventually developed a friendship! They started dating 2 years after getting to know each other by going to the movies and getting ice cream. Being in one another’s company always brings them the most joy and small things matter the most – singing along in the car, sharing a home cooked meal or taking a hike together.

Sadie and Brent had so many late-night conversations about God, and it became the foundation of their relationship. encouraged them while keeping them grounded. After several months into their relationship, Sadie realised how much she loved Brent and her feeling had stuck and grew stronger each day! “There is truly no one else I would rather be with than him”- Sadie said.

Fun fact : Brent has a crazy amount of sports and movie knowledge with popcorn as his favourite food. Sadie purchased her first pony at age 5 and have had horses ever since. Together, they enjoy listening and singing along with movie soundtracks!

Not Your Typical Wedding Guide

Throughout our journey in the wedding industry, we’ve realised that organising a wedding is a significant thing. Starting from choosing the tiny succulent adornment, to wedding dress, venue, videographers and so on. We are grateful that our journey has turned our relationship from ‘vendors’ to friends and we are confident in referring them for your wedding day.
