As a wedding photographer, I am honoured to have the chance of experiencing cultures from around the world and Indonesian itself. The wedding that I shoot would normally be in luxurious villa, cliff facing and taking atlantic horizon as the background.
This time Sylvia and Nanda chosen to go for a traditional celebration. “Tunangan” known as wedding proposal for Indonesian was particularly held under “Sundanese” culture. The point of the ceremony is officially asking permission from the bride to be family. It was a day of celebration where the groom came with his entire relatives bringing “seserahan” or offerings to the bride, mainly consisting of day-to-day need, and in return Sylvia also offered back to Nanda.
