“The Ice and Fire”
This is the story of how two souls became one.
It was one fine evening when Stephanie went to a friend’s wedding and met Marcel’s brother. At that moment, her best friend suggested to Marcel’s brother to introduce Stephanie to Marcel. However, since Marcel lives in Perth, they started texting at first. A month later, Marcel went back to Jakarta for a holiday and their first meeting was actually in the airport!
Stephanie lived in Lampung at that time so she took a flight to Jakarta for job interviews in which she had conveniently scheduled just the right time during Marcel’s holiday. “This gave me an excuse to my parents to go to Jakarta!”, gushed Stephanie. After he picked her up from the airport, Marcel asked her out for a dinner. When she asked where would he take her to, it turned out to be at his home! So the first day she met him was the first day she met his parents as well. Thankfully it went well, and their relationships moved fast since then.
They both grew up in the similar environment which means that they do not need to work too hard to fit in. Stephanie believed that apart from love and chemistry, couples need to have the same vision and mission in life (with the right timing) in order to take the relationship further. They both had enough experiences in past relationships to know exactly what they want in life partner. It didn’t take long for them to decide that they are each other’s perfect fit.
Fun fact: They eat lots of eggs! They can eat more than a dozen of them in a week. Also, they both love to play Gunbound and spend hours in the weekend playing together.
